Hi, I'm Rainy, a video game enthuasiast from the Southern Hemisphere.

I love old games and indie games, especially 2D ones with pixel art or some other hand drawn styled visuals. My preference leans towards games with unique and/or creative gameplay with a somewhat elevated difficulty level, I can enjoy almost any game regardless of how flawed it is if it has at least anything in it that I consider fun.

I also have a blog where I write game reviews as a hobby (currently on hiatus), I wish I had more interesting stuff to say about myself, but unfortunately, I'm quite lacking.

SNK
Metal Slug, The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Top Hunter, World Heroes, King of Monsters, Magician Lord, Twinkle Star Sprites + a bunch of other arcade games.
Konami/Hudson Soft
Castlevania, Goemon, Bomberman, Twinbee, Parodius, Yu-Gi-Oh, Contra, Dance Dance Revolution, Silent Hill + obscure one-off games.
Misc Japanese games
Magical Drop (ex-Data East), Puyo Puyo and Madou Monogatari (ex-Compile, now SEGA), Ys (Falcom), Shin Megami Tensei (Atlus/SEGA), Shining series (SEGA), Sonic (SEGA), Klonoa (Namco), 7th Dragon (SEGA), Square RPGs (Final Fantasy, SaGa series and a bunch of their SNES games), Harvest Moon (Natsume), Story of Seasons (Marvelous), Rune Factory (Marvelous).
